Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Shenzhen (Wuzhou) Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital is a modern comprehensive hospital integrating clinical practice, teaching, research, prevention, healthcare and rehabilitation, approved and registered by Shenzhen Health Bureau. It is the only strategic cooperation unit of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Shenzhen, a designated hospital for Shenzhen social medical insurance, and a designated unit for kidney dialysis medical insurance. Wuzhou Hospital relies on Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, integrating the essence of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, taking the advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and carrying out medical treatment, teaching, preventive healthcare and scientific research combining traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine. The hospital currently has nearly 200 staff members, 23 chief and associate chief physicians, 3 doctoral supervisors, and 2 experts enjoying special State Council allowances. The hospital adheres to the hospital-running policy of "developing the hospital through experts and people-oriented," and currently has established the Guangdong Famous Traditional Chinese Medicine Special Diagnosis Center Wuzhou "Guoyi Hall," as well as 10 clinical departments including traditional Chinese medicine nephrology, gynecology, stomatology, andrology, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, internal medicine, and surgery, and 5 medical technology departments including laboratory, B-ultrasound room, electrocardiogram room, X-ray room, and dialysis room. Among them, Wuzhou Guoyi Hall gathers many national and provincial famous traditional Chinese medicine practitioners; the traditional Chinese medicine nephrology department has a national secondary laboratory - Kidney Disease Clinical Laboratory; the stomatology department has established long-term technical cooperation with Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Stomatology; the andrology and urology department is the South China Regional Male Difficult Disease Consultation Center of the Chinese Society of Andrology. Relying on Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Wuzhou Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital has become one of the largest and most professional integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospitals in Shenzhen.
