Shanghai Songjiang District Xinbang Town Community Health Service Center covers an area of 8,174 square meters with a building area of 5,120 square meters and a greening area of 3,140 square meters. It has 6 central health stations and 3 health service points. Hardware construction is the foundation, providing community residents with a warm and comfortable medical environment and good conditions for the development of community health services. With the strong support of the town government, in 2004, nearly 6 million yuan was invested to build a new outpatient building, renovate the old ward building, rebuild some auxiliary rooms, and update and add a batch of advanced medical testing instruments and equipment. The current outpatient waiting hall is spacious and bright, covering an area of 100 square meters with an electronic display screen; registration, charging, dispensing, and laboratory testing all implement open window services; the health education and rehabilitation room covers an area of 50 square meters and is equipped with corresponding equipment; the information room covers an area of 40 square meters with computers and file cabinets; the outpatient department has barrier-free access, ward corridors have handrails, toilets and beds maintain 24-hour alarm bells, some wards have toilets and shower facilities, and all departments and wards are equipped with air conditioning. The center has specially preset a broadband network system, laying the foundation for further development of informatization, networking, and intelligent management in the future.
