Shanghai Songjiang District Sijing Hospital is a Grade II Class B hospital with 328 staff members, including 252 health technical personnel, 10 senior medical technical personnel, and 38 intermediate medical technical personnel. The hospital covers 29 acres with 200 approved beds, annual outpatient visits of 120,000, and a bed utilization rate of 85.13%. It undertakes medical prevention tasks for nearly 180,000 people in the northern Songjiang District and surrounding areas including Qingpu District and Minhang District. In recent years, with the care of the district committee, district government, and district people's congress, the hospital's medical facilities have been continuously improved and expanded. The hospital possesses advanced imported medical instruments, including Doppler color ultrasound, electronic gastroscope, colonoscope, fully automatic biochemical analyzer, blood cell counter, electroencephalograph, ECG monitor, and Japan Shimadzu X-ray remote control diagnostic system. This year, over 8 million yuan was invested to construct a new 4,300-square-meter outpatient and emergency building, which was completed and put into use in July. To actively develop the medical market and facilitate patients, the hospital invested several million yuan to build a radiotherapy center, the only one in Shanghai's suburbs, which has been highly praised by cancer patients and facilitated treatment for suburban cancer patients. In the past two years, the hospital has developed rapidly in professional projects, with complete professional departments throughout the hospital, including internal medicine (digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrinology specialties), surgery (general surgery, orthopedics, thoracic surgery, urology), obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine, oncology, dermatology, stomatology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, geriatrics, and fully equipped medical technology departments, providing strong support for the hospital's medical development.
