Fengxian District Dental Disease Prevention and Treatment Institute was established in May 1992 as a directly affiliated unit of the Health Bureau and a Grade II medical specialty institution. It operates clinical departments including oral medicine, oral surgery, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and preventive dentistry, while also being responsible for guiding dental disease prevention and treatment work throughout the district. The institute's service mission is: quality earns trust, attitude moves people, characteristics attract people, and benefits motivate people. Current service projects include: painless tooth extraction, alveolar surgery, tooth filling, periodontal cleaning, periodontal surgery, oral mucosal disease diagnosis and treatment, denture fitting including fixed dentures, partial dentures, complete dentures, porcelain tooth restoration, casting restoration, and correction of various dental and jaw deformities. Currently employing 20 staff members, including 1 associate chief physician, 3 attending physicians, and 4 physicians. Educational background: 8 bachelor's degrees, 4 associate degrees, 5 technical school diplomas, and 3 others, accounting for 40%, 20%, 25%, and 15% of total staff respectively. The institute has been awarded the bureau's civilized team and has been recognized as a municipal dental prevention advanced collective for four consecutive years.
