Changning District Disease Prevention and Control Center is a health institution under the leadership of the District Health Bureau and guidance of the Municipal Disease Prevention and Control Center, specifically implementing government disease prevention and control functions for society. It undertakes disease prevention and control professional guidance, technical demonstration, and technical training within the jurisdiction. The main tasks of the disease control center are to formulate disease prevention and treatment plans and implement disease prevention and health promotion plans according to actual conditions within the jurisdiction, and be responsible for guiding and organizing implementation. Conduct disease surveillance within the jurisdiction, take disease prevention and control measures and strengthen corresponding standardized management, conduct epidemiological investigations of related diseases, risk factor monitoring and prevention and treatment effect evaluation; timely report and handle outbreaks occurring within the jurisdiction, participate in handling public health emergencies; be responsible for technical control measures for disease prevention work within the jurisdiction; conduct health education, health promotion activities, preventive physical examinations, etc., providing disease prevention technical services and technical consultation. Changning District Disease Prevention and Control Center currently employs 129 staff members, including 92 health professional technical personnel, among which 9 chief and associate chief physicians, 20 supervising physicians, 48 medical technicians, 15 medical technologists, including 6 masters and 23 bachelors. It covers 3,987 square meters with 2,294 square meters of building area. Currently, the center has four administrative departments: office, personnel department, finance department, and general affairs department. Professional work is organized into three departments and one office (Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Department, Chronic Disease Prevention and Treatment Department, Public Health Monitoring and Management Department, Comprehensive Business Information Office), with 13 departments in total and related disease outpatient departments and medical technology departments.
