The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University was founded in 1950, formerly known as Guangzhou Railway Central Hospital. It is the only tertiary Grade A hospital in Guangdong Province. The hospital has a building area of nearly 100,000 square meters, 1,420 employees, 1,000 open beds and nearly 30,000 annual discharged patients.
