Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Center (Guangzhou Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital), affiliated with Guangdong Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security, officially opened on October 28, 2002. It is China's first specialized hospital focusing on work injury rehabilitation, designated as a comprehensive pilot unit for work injury rehabilitation by the Ministry of Labor in November 2004 and as Guangdong Provincial Work Injury Rehabilitation Base. The hospital is located on the banks of the scenic Liuxi River in Conghua Hot Spring, with a total building area of about 7,000 square meters. It has nearly 120 rehabilitation beds and over 100 professional technical personnel. The center features neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic trauma rehabilitation, burn rehabilitation, and occupational rehabilitation, forming distinctive characteristics in paralysis motor therapy, hydrotherapy, neurofacilitation techniques, weight-reduction therapy, prosthetics and orthotics manufacturing, and occupational rehabilitation and disability function assessment.
