About
Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Ersha Island Branch was completed in 1997 and is located on the picturesque Ersha Island. It covers an area of 40 acres with a greening rate of 70%, making it the first garden-style hospital with Lingnan characteristics in the country. It is a model of modern hospital architecture and an ideal place for treatment and recuperation. The Ersha Island Branch has six inpatient wards for cardiovascular, gastroenterology, endocrinology, urology, orthopedics, and gynecology, with 250 inpatient beds. It has departments including internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics, proctology, dermatology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, acupuncture, massage, physiotherapy, stomatology, physical examination center, and traditional therapy center, with 24-hour emergency services and an average daily outpatient and emergency volume of over 2,000 people. It also has laboratory, radiology, functional examination, Chinese and Western pharmacy, and operating rooms, with over 3,000 surgical procedures annually. The hospital has advanced medical equipment including fully automated biochemical analyzers, spiral CT, color B-ultrasound, high-frequency breast imaging, transcranial Doppler, and others. The branch strictly implements the charging standards stipulated by provincial and municipal price departments and public medical offices. Registration, medical treatment, laboratory tests, examinations, medications, and other charges are the same as the Dade Road main hospital.
