Fudan University Affiliated Huashan Hospital was founded in 1907. It is a hospital directly under the National Health Commission, an affiliated teaching hospital of Fudan University, and a hospital named by the Chinese Red Cross. In 1992, it was the first to pass the national tertiary Grade A hospital evaluation and is a national civilized unit. It is one of the most famous and internationally characterized medical, teaching, and research centers in China, and is also the first directly affiliated public hospital in the country to pass JCI certification, enjoying a high reputation internationally.
