Hospital 305 was established in 1969. After 50 years of development, this hospital with excellent traditions and glorious history has become a Grade III Class A specialized hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, and healthcare. It is the PLA Geriatric Disease Center, Coronary Heart Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, former General Staff Department Cardiovascular Internal Medicine Center, Endocrinology Specialty Center, Medical Experimental Research Center, Cerebrovascular Disease Center, and Central Government Officials Physical Examination Center. The hospital is located in Beijing's central urban area, adjacent to the historic royal garden Beihai Park, covering 45,000 square meters with a building area of 62,000 square meters. The hospital has 525 open beds, 19 first-level departments, 10 second-level departments, and 15 wards. It has a military professional technical cadre team composed of 21 senior professionals, 28 associate senior professionals, and 119 intermediate professionals. The hospital has over 3,000 pieces of various equipment worth 260 million yuan, including 1 PET-CT, 2 MRI machines, 2 high-end CT machines, 1 ECT-CT, 2 digital subtraction angiography machines, and other advanced medical equipment.
