Capital Medical University Affiliated Beijing Rehabilitation Hospital is a tertiary Grade A hospital featuring rehabilitation medicine, affiliated with the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions, with joint participation from Capital Medical University and Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation. The hospital also undertakes the work of Beijing Rehabilitation Medicine College of Capital Medical University. The hospital's predecessor was Beijing Workers' Sanatorium, built in 1955. Over 60 years, the hospital has provided recuperation and medical health services to thousands of model workers, advanced workers, and cadres and employees. The hospital is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing, in the scenic Badachu area, covering an area of over 130 acres, with a building area of over 100,000 square meters, an outdoor rehabilitation garden area of over 20,000 square meters, and 950 open beds. The hospital currently has nearly 1,000 health professional and technical personnel, including over 100 medical experts holding positions in various professional societies and associations at all levels, and nearly 200 rehabilitation therapists.
