Konggang Hospital was rebuilt and renamed from the former Houshayu Health Center to "Shunyi District Konggang Hospital, Shunyi District Hospital Second Department" under the care, help, and support of the district committee, district government, health bureau, and town party committee. Konggang Hospital is located in Area B of Houshayu New City Airport Industrial Zone as a Grade II hospital. Total land area 45 acres, building area approximately 5,000 square meters. Currently established departments include internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, functional examination, Chinese and Western pharmacy, and nursing. The ward has two floors with 50 beds (including high-grade and medium-grade rooms). Since establishment, total investment of 3 million yuan purchased various large equipment, imported equipment including American GE company's fully automatic 500mA large X-ray machine, Japanese fully automatic 18-item blood cell counter, German urine 10-item fully automatic analyzer, dental comprehensive treatment chair, all imported surgical anesthesia equipment and 4 sets of cardiac function monitoring and examination equipment, based on domestic leading standards. Wards equipped with heating and cooling air conditioning, central oxygen supply and signal calling system, hospital-wide computer networking and computer settlement. Our hospital currently employs 56 staff, including 1 chief physician, 3 associate chief physicians, 4 attending physicians, and regular school-graduated professional nursing personnel. Since opening one year ago, our hospital has successfully conducted esophageal cancer, breast cancer, gallstone, uterine fibroid, hernia, appendix, 3-person 2-joint replacement surgery, and other large, medium, and small surgeries, as well as acute myocardial infarction thrombolytic treatment and critical patient rescue.
