Beijing Huairou District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was founded in June 1985. It is a district-owned comprehensive modern tertiary traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Huairou District, undertaking medical treatment, nursing, research, teaching and preventive healthcare tasks for the people in Huairou and surrounding areas. Currently, Huairou District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is a non-directly affiliated hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. On December 21, 2017, Huairou District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was entrusted to Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and the hospital was additionally named "Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Huairou Hospital."
