Renhe Hospital is a secondary comprehensive hospital newly built with an investment of 140 million yuan by Baoshan District Government. It is a public institution and a designated medical insurance unit in Shanghai. The hospital covers an area of 25,090 square meters with a building area of 27,406 square meters and a greening area of 12,759 square meters, with a greening rate of 42.5%. It officially opened in October 2000. The hospital has 23 clinical and medical technology departments. Clinical departments include respiratory medicine, cardiovascular medicine, neurology, gastroenterology and endocrinology, general surgery, neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, stomatology, dermatology, emergency department, and anesthesiology. Medical technology departments include radiology, laboratory, pathology, physical diagnosis, pharmacy, and CT room. The hospital has 327 approved beds and possesses large medical equipment such as CT, color ultrasound, large X-ray machines, and fully automatic biochemical analyzers.
